Jason Adams
Jason brings over 20 years of construction, HVAC, and operations leadership experience, successfully managing construction, facilities, and service programs for nationally recognized brands. He is a hands-on project manager known for a strategic, results-driven approach that blends team building, technical expertise, and financial discipline to deliver on-time, on-budget projects with exceptional client satisfaction.
His portfolio spans small, mid, and large-box projects, ground-up developments, and complex airport work, giving him a deep understanding of both fast-track retail environments and highly regulated infrastructure. Jason consistently pursues win-win solutions, improving procedures and cost-control tools to tighten schedules, enhance budgets, and create more predictable outcomes for owners and stakeholders.
With a uniquely team-oriented decision-making style, Jason brings project owners, design teams, trades, and internal staff together, ensuring clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a collaborative jobsite culture that keeps safety, quality, and performance front and center.
Tara Adams
Tara Adams is the co-founder of EMJ Consulting Group, which she launched with her husband, Jason, after years of planning and dreaming about building a client-focused firm together. She is involved in all aspects of the business and especially enjoys partnering with new clients, learning how their operations work, and helping refine their processes.
Known for being highly communicative, hard-working, and enthusiastic, Tara brings a relationship-driven approach to every engagement. Before starting EMJ Consulting Group, she spent 7 years as a Special Education teacher and 12 years as a Special Education administrator, experience that sharpened her skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and advocacy.
Outside of work, she volunteers with Young Life supporting teen moms, and loves spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking.
